Arison Maritime Center CSMART, Carnival's Center for Simulator Maritime Training, uses SAMMON software from ISSIMS GmbH to develop and conduct its ship-handling courses at Almere, Netherlands. Here, ship officers from various Carnival-group brands such as AIDA Cruises, COSTA and Princess Cruises are trained in a high-quality course environment. CSMART acquired several trainee stations equipped with SAMMON 1.4 to support both the instructors and trainees in demonstrating and understanding ship dynamics as well as designing berthing plans and manoeuvring strategies.

Starting in 2017 the ISSIMS GmbH provided CSMART Academy with 2 more SAMMON Trainee stations and starting in April the SAMMON software is now used in the enhanced shiphandling course.

Starting July 2023 ISSIMS GmbH releases SIMDAT Version 5.6 replacing SIMDAT version 5.5

Every user of SIMDAT 5.5 will get the free access to upgrade the software to version 5.6
